The experience of the Torpado Factory Team in competitions has allowed to identify standards, study and test geometries with solutions that are a part of the Nearco line.
Nearco combines the advantages of the 29” (stability, safety in crossing obstacles) with the acceleration, agility and lightness of the 26”.
The length of the chainstays of 425mm, combined with the steering angle of 70°, makes sure that the mountain bike has a compact wheelbase and is therefore extremely maneuverable and responsive. The rear brake, as required by the most modern standards, is a post mount in the chainstay (more rigid and lighter) for a 140mm disc and a 160mm adapter.
The choice of the components and the features of the frame (tapered head, steering angle, length of chainstays) make the steering very accurate, but without being too nervous, therefore adapting both to racing and comfortable use.
In the Torpado range, the N identifies the entrance line to the world of Torpado Impudent for the products made of UD (uni-directional) carbon fibre and its dedicated components.
The frames of this line are characterized by the use and arrangement of two different modules of carbon fibre allowing these products to be an excellent compromise between mechanical features and lightness. Less exasperated but equally practical, the N line offers standards, geometries and measurements of the S line.
